Description
Château de Lavernette Pouilly-Fuisse. Hand-picked from a small 0.8 hectare vineyard called “Vers Châne”, with South-East East exposure, and clay-limestone soil. The Chardonnay vines are an average age of 35-years-old
Vinification: Pressed immediately upon receiving the fruit, the wine is then cold-settled and then fermented in barrels. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place naturally on the fine lees in order to preserve all its aromatic potential. The wine is aged for around 20 months before being blended and bottled.
