Description
Laws Four Grain Bourbon story starts at two Colorado family farms where heritage corn and heirloom varietals of wheat, barley and rye are grown. Turning the page, their labor-intensive cooking technique brings each grain’s individual character to life, while four-day open-air sour mash adds soulful complexity. Their mash is then distilled in a custom made four-plate pot somewhat reminiscent of an Armagnac/Calvados still. After three years in 53-gallon charred oak barrels, influenced by the high-altitude and arid climate, an entirely novel bourbon unfolds.
Mash Bill: 60% heritage corn, 20% heirloom wheat, 10% heirloom rye, 10% heirloom malted barley
