The T\u00eate de Cuv\u00e9e from Ch\u00e2teau la Grolet is an annual selection of their best sites and best barriques to create the finest expression of their terroir, aged longer and released later. They sit on the right bank of Bordeaux, in the C\u00f4tes de Bourg. The estate has been biodynamic since 2000. The 55-year-old vines, double Guyot pruned, grow on gravel soils with low yields and natural treatments supporting healthy growth. <\/p>\n

The wine offers effusive notes of tonka Bean, chestnut pur\u00e9e, vanilla blossom, sandalwood, and blackberry leaf over a fruit core of black currant and sloe berries, supported by powdery tannins of an almost cosmetic texture giving structure to the lush fruit and racy acidity that make this wine such a pleasure with an array of dishes.
